What Guide Books Say About Jasmine Valley
"There simply aren't enough superlatives to describe this eco-lodge, tucked away in Jasmine Valley at the base of Kep National Park with views into dense forrest on one side (with a chance of spotting nesting Great Hornbills) and the ocean on the other. The range of mud-brick bungalows, some built at dizzying heights, are tastefuly decorated with personal touches and the establishment is on the road to self-sufficiency, with fruit and vegetables growing in the elaborate bardens and fish in the ponds; they even brew their own starfruit cider. A spectacular guesthouse." |

"This new eco-lodge, on a verdent hillside just below Kep National Park, has eight solar powered bungalows; six are made from adobe and two are perched atop columns. Amenities include a sauna and a 'natural' swimming pool. To get there from the boat dock, turn north-west at the hospital and take the serpentine road for 2km. A moto from the Crab Markett should cost US$1.50 to US$2.50 and a remork US$3 to US$5." |
